As I sit here, writing a new post,
I’m pretty proud of myself that I’m actually halfway finshed with my homework. All I have to do now is write out my plan again for helping the homeless for English, as well as write my essay for Government. Then, as an added bonus, I should probably start printing out pictures of the cat’s organs to help me study. I didn’t bother to look at my quiz grade today in class; I already know I have an F. I really, really need to get that grade up-it’s starting to bother me a lot; I don’t want to be failing a class, when I’ve been doing so well all year, you know?
Anyways, at the end of Newspaper, this girl, Syd, decides to stand up and make a general announcement to all the staffers that although it’s not required, it would be nice if everyone could stay after school to finish the paper. Here’s the thing: that paper could very well be done during class-it’s just that no one really tries to. And then the “teacher” decided to say “yeah, if I don’t see the pages ready for print by the end of the period, it’s going to knock down your grade.” This aggravates me beyond. I mean, I always finish my stories and proof pages way before everyone else, and now, all of the sudden, my grade is going to be affected by the people who can’t? It’s just not fair-at all. So most likely, I’m going to have to stay after school, and finish other people’s work. I’m sooo not happy about that.
